Is Your Clutter an Abundance Blocker

Pardon me for asking, but is your clutter an abundance blocker? The reason I ask is that I generally talk about limiting beliefs, but listening to Mary Morrissey the other day, she was talking about abundance blocks and clutter was on the list.

When studying with Bob Proctor and others, it was often stated that if you were running into roadblocks toward a goal, you should clean house. Cleaning up made room for the good that was coming to you. But I do not remember hearing that a cluttered, dirty house was an abundance blocker.

It makes sense though. When you look up from your desk and see a cluttered counter, your mind starts to organize what is on the counter. It is unable to release the inherent need to make order out of chaos. The result is that the mind is so busy trying to establish order that it cannot focus on creating dreams, finding solutions, or other activities that are part of bringing abundance into our lives.

It is also interesting that one of the first things people did when they found themselves staying at home over the past few weeks was to clean, reorganize their homes, and take on major projects. My Newsfeed has any number of photos from gardens, renovated kitchens and the like. I was late to this game while writing and otherwise preparing Zoom calls for my Train Your Brain, Claim Your Power program. It is such a pleasure to be able to focus on this project without interruption. However, even I am now drawn to clearing clutter. It is the least I can do to contribute to restarting the economy.

On Saturday, there is a new Zoom call for Train Your Brain, Claim Your Power. That is May 9th at 9:00am Pacific time. Dr. Randall Bell will be our guest. He is a sociologist and economist who specializes in helping governments, businesses and individuals mitigate their circumstances after disasters. We will be talking about what we can do to get past the current situation and thrive in the “new” economy.

You are welcome to join the call.
When: Saturday, May 9, 2020 09:00 AM Pacific Time (US and Canada)
